'Teapots'
The Republican Party appears to be proud of its association with the Tea Party. Which is a bit odd, given that the "teabaggers" are motivated by anger and hatred. Anger and hatred, I have always been told, should not be the motivating factors for any political movement. But looking at the antics at Tea Party rallies that have been aired on the news channels, that is all that the teabaggers and The Republican Party have to run a campaign on. Anger and hatred. That is their fuel. Fuel for the fools!
Where was their anger when George Troubleyou Bush was dragging the good name of our society down to the gates of hell? Where was the teabagger's anger when The Republican Party was giving George Troubleyou Bush EVERYTHING that he wanted for the first SIX YEARS of his wasteful presidency? Where was the anger of the teabagger's when tens of thousands of humans were dying in two irresponsible wars provided by George and Dick? Where were the teabaggers during those long wasteful eight years of George Troubleyou Bush's reign of terror and waste? Silent and invisible, that is where they were! Now, we the people have to play witness to their hate-filled, racist, vitriolic, hypocritical tantrums. Except that the tantrums are labeled political rallies on behalf of the red-blooded, patriotic citizens. Hogwash! Since when is hatred a patriotic virtue? When did racism become a virtue of patriots in this country? When did it become patriotic to hold hate in one's heart while pretending to love all life? In reality, the only virtues that these people possess abundantly are stupidity, ignorance, and hypocrisy.
Again, I must say, I am a bit bewildered at the pride that The Republican Party has in their association with the Tea Party. I predict that this association will help bring down The Republican Party in upcoming elections. I do not believe this is just wishful thinking, I have a strong feeling that this will happen. I think that The Republican Party should be renamed. I'll offer some suggestions: The Hypocrisy Party, The Party of Red (for the blood and red ink; how appropriate that The Republican Party is already represented by the color red), The Party of The Ignorant, The Party for The Hateful, The Party of Fools. But really, The Republican Party has been more like a circus than a party, so how about The Republican Party Circus? How fitting! And now, The Circus has an arena where the teabaggers perform. Birds of a feather, flock together, under the big tent. Welcome to The Circus that is The Republican Party; the party of hypocrites!
The teabaggers of the Tea Party give tea a bad name, and the republicans of The Republican Party give themselves a bad name.
