'N.R.I.:  New Republican Icon'

The Republican Party should change its' icon from an elephant to a pig, for more honest representation of what this political party is all about.  The Republicans in Congress have been feeding at the trough of wastefulness and hypocrisy for a long time now, without any accountability, and voters that make up the "base" of this political party carry their ignorance into the voting booth every election like a badge of honor.

Now, here we are again, facing another major election and the Republican Party wants more power within our government.  Will a majority of voters look at the truth of their record of (mis)leadership?  For the first six years of George Troubleyou Bush's two terms, the Republicans in Congress gave him absolutely everything he asked for.  Not once was he told "no" to his reckless, wasteful spending spree.  Not once did the Republicans in Congress demand that any of his wasteful, reckless spending be paid for in advance.  Why wasn't The Republican Party the Party of No during George Troubleyou Bush's two terms?  If only the Republicans in Congress had been obstructionists during those long, wasteful, reckless eight years of Number Forty-Three, our society would not have experienced the most serious economic downturn since The Great Depression, and we would not still be experiencing the aftermath of the wasteful, reckless, irresponsible, disasterous misleadership of George Troubleyou Bush and his destructive Republican Party.

2012 is not the time to hand power or control back to the Republicans.  November, 2012 is an opportunity to hold The Republican Party accountable, not just for those long, wasteful, reckless eight years of George Troubleyou Bush's reign of disaster and irresponsibility, but also for the past two years of obstructionist, do-nothing, just-say-no-to-everything party platform.  Most Republicans in Congress (and some Democrats) possess inferior ideology that is destructive to our society.  The question is, will The Republican Party be held accountable?  We will most likely know the answer to that question on November Seventh, if not sooner.
