'Fireside Thoughts'

You don't suppose The Republican Party thinks it's going to get away with those long, wasteful eight years of George Troubleyou Bush without being held accountable, do you?  I believe that The Republican Party has only seen the beginning of its losses.  The three elections that were most recently won by Republican candidates are quite easily explained.  The wins in New Jersy and Virginia were historical happenings.  Each of those states did exactly as they have in their cyclical past.  And as far as Massachusett is concerned, Scott Brown was the sexier candidate.  I don't vote for Republicans, but I would have "done" Scott Brown!  The Democratic candidate was milk toast.

The painting shown above is part of a series titled, 'A Wish Upon A Star'.  This wish is that The Republican Party goes the way of The Tories, if not the dinosaurs.  The way of the dinosaurs would be better, but the way of The Tories would be okay.

I have seen quite a few Republican talking heads on tv making predictions about the mid-term elections in November, and these talking heads paint a far rosier outcome than what I think is coming in November for The Republican Party.  My prediction is that The Republican Party is going to suffer historic losses.  A new movement will happen and a viable third party will be created. This New Political Movement will be the reason for The Republican Party's losses.  That's my prediction!
